  Welcome to my Christians
and Politics site. Here we will look at American, and even World
Politics, from a Biblical Christian perspective. As American Christians we have a
responsibility nearly unique in human history in our duty to participate in politics. Yes,
you heard me correctly, American Christians have a duty, before
Christ, to participate in politics. In fact, to not participate is a sin.America is in deep trouble. Our land runs red with the blood of untold millions of innocents that have been slaughtered on the altar of "choice". Blood that calls out from the earth to God for justice. We are awash in unrepentant sin. Adultery, homosexuality, sexual immorality, violence, greed, and materialism are rampant in the land. Unaccountable Judges have mandated that some states actually affirm same-sex marriage. A slap in the face to God and His Word. There are even some so-called "Christian" pastors and churches affirming the Judges' decrees. We are again living in the day of Judges where " ... every man did that which was right in his own eyes." (Judges 21:25). Good is called evil, and evil is called good. God have mercy on us and upon our land. Can a Holy and Righteous God withhold His judgement from America long? NO, indeed judgement has already begun to fall upon our land. Earthquakes, storms, plagues, wars and violence amongst our people, young and old.
Sadly, over the past century the mainstream Christian community, and even some evangelical churches, in America have moved further and further from Biblical authority in their teaching and preaching. It is no mere coincidence that at the same time we have seen a growing heresy in the American Christian community that believers should not be involved in politics and that our Christian faith has no place in the public arena. Good Christian, albeit biblically illiterate, folks naively speak of the unbiblical, even diabolical, lie that there should be a "separation of church and state" as though it were scripture. We are told that there are two things that should not be discussed in polite society, Politics and Religion. Wow! The two most important subjects in American life and we are not to allow them in the public discourse. This is not only foolish, it stands anathema to the sound Biblical principles that should govern every believer's life. Private and Public! That said, I will try to post material here that will educate and inform so that we who are called by the Name of Christ can make wise decisions. This first decade of the 21st Century is shaping up to be one of the most critical times in the entire history of the United States of America so be sure to study the issues and then participate in the process, be a part of the dialog and most importantly VOTE.
