New York Times to Publish Interview with Dr. Berry – Or Not? – By Pastor Dick Helms

Yesterday, Wednesday, September 15th, I received a call from Jason George at the New York Times. Mr. George told me that he had obtained an interview with Dr. Berry, through his attorney, and that they were going to publish it in the next few days. Okay?

Over the last month, I have promised all of the media folks, including Mr. George, to keep them all up to date regarding developments in the story. Therefore, In accordance with my word, I alerted all of media on my list via email regarding the upcoming article.

Today, I received another phone call from a very irate Jason George berating me for informing the other media and changing his story. Mr. George now says that he “does not” have an interview with Dr. Berry and that the non-interview will now not be publishing in the next few days.

I doubt that I’ll be getting anymore updates from Mr. George but hope the rest of the media folks will kindly keep me up to date. And if it’s “off the record”, please say so. Thanks.
